Description

Do code, music & poetry have any intersection? Surely worlds apart! Well, surely not! Modern pros understand the importance of connecting imagination & creativity with our daily livelihood, but don't always see the path to doing so. Come and be inspired with more-than-a-talk which takes the famous Zen of Python into fresh new waters.

Abstract

Come hear from a software and data engineer with 30 years of experience coding and architecting, who is also an award-winning poet and spoken word performer. Come for this entertaining exploration on the many connections between code and poetry, but come also to be inspired in how you can take any creative interests you may have, and build them up to improve your communication, your diversity of thinking, and your effectiveness as a working engineer. More than all that, though, come for a laugh, a shoulder shimmy, and, as the Monty Python crew would say "or something completely different!"
